Grandparents Days

Our 290 students hosted 410 guests during November’s Grandparents’ Days. A favorite of all ages, it was a pleasure to host the grandparents, grandfriends, and other adults who spent two wonderful mornings with their favorite Mercy students. Each day begins in the chapel, where a number of upper elementary and junior high students shared their musical talents with visitors.

Mercy could not have entertained so many guests, so graciously, without the support of a large group of parents. The shuttle drivers, greeters, tea service volunteers, photographers, and craft volunteers were tremendous, and kept everything running smoothly.

As Patty Normile shared with parents, “We love these two days and look forward to your children enjoying their special loved one(s) at Mercy Montessori. On behalf of the entire staff, thank you for helping us make this great event happen. It’s one of my favorites and a beautiful start to the holiday season.”

Mercy Montessori was pleased to host 410 visitors during Grandparents’ Days, held the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving.
