Inclement weather in January and February resulted in many indoor recesses for Mercy Montessori students in East Walnut Hills.
Five lower elementary girls started making rubber band bracelets and recognized a fundraising opportunity to support the Cincinnati Pet Food Pantry. The non-profit organization provides temporary food assistance to pet owners who are currently unable to provide food for their pets; this animal-related cause struck a chord with the young students.
