Dancing the Night Away at the Father Daughter Dance
Dads and their daughters danced the night away on September 13th at the annual Father Daughter Dance. Great music filled Mercy Montessori’s gym for lots of free dancing and some special songs for the girls and their dates including “Bop Til You Drop” and “Rocketship Run”. Thanks to Miss Meghan’s music, some of the ladies performed with scarves to the song “Let It Go” from the movie “Frozen” and several classes also introduced songs and led dances on stage. The favorite tradition of parachuting stuffed animals to “Who Let the Dogs Out”, brought lots of laughter and smiles to all in attendance. When they were not dancing, guests enjoyed decorating photo frames with stickers and themselves with body jewels and glow necklaces. Special thanks to all of the volunteers who made the night possible including Ann Barnes, Britt Castellini, Meghan Fronduti / Miss Meghan’s Music, Kim O’Connell, and Jill Plush.
